Who we are
This website is run by JDC Consultants Ltd (company number 3272229), registered office 45 Elliott Road, London W4 1PF. We are responsible for the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, email johnc@jdcconsultants.com.

What we collect and why
Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and message. We use this to reply to you and to discuss the services you have asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

Clients and business contacts. We hold contact details for the people we work with at client, partner and supplier organisations. We use them to deliver our services, manage the relationship and keep business records. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with your organisation and our legitimate business interests.

Client work. Where we process data on a client’s behalf, for example during data cleansing or migration projects, we act only on that client’s instructions. The client’s own privacy notice applies to that data.

Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies that are needed for it to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your information for marketing. We use trusted providers who act on our instructions: WPMU DEV (website hosting), Microsoft (email), and Google (web fonts used to display the site). Some providers may process data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Client and business records are kept for 6 years after our work ends, to meet legal and accounting requirements.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email johnc@jdcconsultants.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk

Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
